Hi! My Name is Mrs. Denise Harper and  I am a 1st grade teacher at HE Corley. This will be my 4th year teaching at HEC, and my 1st year teaching first grade.  I will begin the 2020-2021 school year teaching virtually. I am excited about this new opportunity. I have been in education for over 18 years, having taught 1st grade and 2nd grade for 6 of those years and 3 years in 3rd grade. I am a South Carolina native and a product of District 5 schools. I am blessed to be a mom to 3 amazing kids; Jackson, Parsons, and Lawson. Parsons and Lawson were also part of the Corley Family! When I’m not teaching, I love spending time with my family and friends. I love being outdoors working in my yard and being on the lake boating and paddleboarding. I also love to read and get lost in a good book! I hope you have an amazing 2020-2021 school year!
