¡Bienvenidos! Welcome! My name is Erika Sánchez. This is my fifth year teaching Spanish in School District Five and my second year at Spring Hill High School!
I earned my Bachelor's degree from Baylor University, and I also studied at ITESM (el Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey) in Monterrey, Mexico. I also earned my Master's degree in Language, Literacy, and Culture with ESOL concentration from Coastal Carolina University. Prior to teaching, I worked in international business for 13 years. My husband and I have four children ages 9-16, and we are a licensed foster family!
My goal and joy as an educator is to connect students with others through building proficiency and a love for the Spanish languages and cultures around the world!
