Mrs. Tibet Bireley

I am the 8th grade South Carolina History teacher for Team 82.  This is my 9th year teaching and 4th year at Dutch Fork Middle School. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education from Indiana University and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from the University of South Carolina.  I am certified in high school and middle level US History, World History, Economics and Government. In addition, I am Gifted and Talented endorsed.  I enjoy reading historical fiction, fantasy and science fiction.  I love spending time with my family, traveling and RVing.  I am the proud mother of three girls and the grandmother of three.

I have created Google Sites for SC History and Geography.  On these sites you can find important class information such as the syllabus, weekly schedule, textbook link (8th grade), resources, unit video clips, notes and student work.  Thank you for allowing me to teacher your child this year.  I am hoping for a healthy and exciting year of learning.
