Jeffrey M. Cameron

Greetings and Hello.  My name is Jeff Cameron and I will be teaching CP Physical Science and ASTRONOMY this year at IHS.  I am exceptionally excited about this as I have loved the field of Astronomy for years and I sponsor the IHS Astronomy Society, which meets the first and third Wednesdays of each month.  This will be my 32nd year in the classroom.  In my many years of teaching I have previously taught Physical Science, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Earth Science, Biology, Marine Science and all of the Middle Level Sciences.

I am an amature Archeologist with a special love for Native America.  I also like to hike on the weekends with my family.  We have hiked in many places around the USA including Grand Canyon, Yellowstone, Painted Desert etc.  Three summer's ago we were able to hike in the Carpathian Mountains in Romania (Dracula). Many Saturday mornings you can probably find me hiking the "Fire Break Trail" at Harbison Forest or at Saluda Shoals.

I love to play Electric Football.  (If you are under 40 years old you have no idea what I am talking about....Google it). and I play in monthly tournaments in Spartanburg.

As your children already know, I love superheroes and comic books.  Simply pay a visit to my classroom and you will agree.  I have many school friendly comics in my classroom that are available to the students to read when we have a few extra minutes at the end of class.

I am so looking forward to working with your children.  I am confident that if we all do our best each day,  we will have a VERY successful year.

Should you have any questions please feel free to email me.  I will get back to within 24 hours (usually) - Thanks - Jeff
