Mrs. X'andria Sutton
Hi there, I'm X'andria Sutton and I teach Learning Strategies here at Irmo High School. I have been teaching for over 4 years with experience in a number of Learning Strategies settings. I have taught across all content areas, including English, math, science, social studies and career/life skills.
I know most students don't believe I have a life outside of the school, but I do. I am married to an amazing person, who also happens to teach at Irmo High School. Together we have 2 awesome kiddos, Braedyn and Bakari. We are originally from Fort Lauderdale, Florida but relocated to the Columbia area 5 years ago. We love it here and are often out in the community. Say 'hi' if you see us out and about! We love meeting our students and their families!
I love reading, learning and writing. I am a forever student and a bit of a nerd. I also love exploring my creative side, most often by crafting and cake decorating.

When it comes to teaching, I would like to believe that I am a champion for my students. I wholeheartedly believe in supporting all of my students. My goal is to help students define what success looks like for each of them and to help them reach that goal.
