Mr. Thomas C. Corbett

I was born on December 29th, 1992 to Barney and Nancy Corbett. I have a younger brother named William Corbett who I have been best friends with since childhood. From the time I was little I've had a passion for expression, performance, language, and fitness. I was active in drama club, NJROTC, and creative writing. I graduated from Chapin High School in 2011 and began my college education at Anderson University. After two years I moved to the midlands and began learning at Midlands Tech, and then I left for Coastal Carolina University where I finished my degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and Asian Studies minor. I then completed my Masters of Arts in Teaching in 2018. I returned to my home district of Lexington Richland 5 in order to teach at Irmo High School and educate young minds in the field of English Literature.

I am a former MMA fighter with background in Muay Thai and Kung Fu. I was a Lieutenant in NJROTC at Chapin High, and I was a cross country runner. I still train and value my fitness today. As a lover of language, I'm studying Korean, Chinese, and Japanese as foreign languages. But with my own language of English, I've made great accomplishments, such as publishing two books and working on a third. When I'm not writing, teaching, or fighting, I'm often either sleeping, cooking, or gaming. My favorite game is For Honor, and my favorite food to cook is Chicken A la "Boo-Boo."

If you're reading all this, it's a pleasure to have you on my website and I hope you enjoy your time here. Feel free to ask me anything and leave any messages you like. Welcome to the Corbett Corner.
