Welcome to my fifth grade classroom!  I could not be more excited for my second year at Harbison West!  You may recognize me from your student's second grade year, or I may have even taught them! This is my third year teaching fifth grade after previously teaching second at our school.  Beyond this, I spent a year interning at this school during the 2017-2018 school year.  After experiencing both second grade and fourth grade at this school, I knew this would be my new home.  I am originally from Narragansett, Rhode Island, but made my way down south when I decided to pursue my undergraduate degree at University of South Carolina.  I graduated from the Elementary Eudcation program at USC May of 2018 with a secondary degree from the Honors College. I am currently working on a masters in language and literacy! Despite being born up north, this is my eighth year in Columbia and I do consider it my home.  I enjoy Disney movies, a good book, all sorts of snacks, and spending hours in Target!  Teaching has been my passion since childhood, and I feel so lucky to join the fifth grade team at Harbison West!
