Mrs. Jeanne Yenco

This is my sixth year at Chapin Middle school and I am so excited to be here!  I have been teaching middle school math for 15 years.  I received my bachelor’s degree from Clemson University in Computer Engineering and my master’s from University of Tennessee in Industrial Engineering.  I have had the opportunity to work on some super cool projects as an Engineer (the B2 Bomber, the Hubble Telescope, and the F16 ejection seat).  I have seen, firsthand, how math and critical thinking fit into the real-world.  Math is everywhere!

 I am married and we have 3 wonderful kids.  I cherish time with my family – walking our two rescue dogs and spending time with my Mom.  I am a huge college sports fan and I love watching college football and basketball.  I find peace and quiet working in my flower garden.

 I look forward to getting to know each one of you this year as we grow in our math knowledge together.
