Welcome to the 2019-2020 school year! 

Last summer my husband, 2 year old son, and our 4 year old Chocolate Lab made the move from Chicago to Columbia, South Carolina. I grew up and have always lived in the Midwest. I absolutely LOVE the cold and snowy winters of Chicago, but love the beautiful landscape of South Carolina. We look forward to getting to explore and experience more of South Carolina!

This is my second year teaching here at Leaphart STEAM Magnet! Before this, I taught 4th grade for 5 years in the Chicago Suburbs. I graduated from Olivet Nazarene University in 2013 with a Bacherlor's Degree in Elementary Education with a double minor in Spanish and English as a Second Language. In 2017, I graduated from Aurora University with a Master's Degree in Educational Technology. 

I look forward to getting to know each of you this school year!
