I was born and raised on the Lexington side of Lake Murray. After completing my degree at Clemson University in political science and history, I immediately enrolled in the Masters of Arts in Teaching at the University of South Carolina. I taught seventh and eighth grade Social Studies at Hand Middle School for eleven years. For the past six years, I have worked within public schools, earned a Masters in Educational Leadership, and really missed teaching Social Studies. I am excited to return to teaching!
My husband, David, and I have three children. We spend lots of time watching the children play tennis, football, basketball, soccer and baseball as well as cheering for the Clemson Tigers.
