Mrs. Sandy Spencer

Welcome to the 2022-23 school year at Spring Hill High School! 

I am looking forward to starting my 4th year with Spring Hill and 22nd year teaching. I moved here a few years ago from Orange Park, FL where I taught for 19 years. I have taught a wide variety of courses such as IB Bio SL, middle school science, Biology 1, Anatomy & Physiology Honors, AP Biology, AP Environmental, Marine Science, Forensic Science, Sports Medicine, Critical Thinking & Study Skills, and Medical Terminology. This year I am excited to be teaching Anatomy & Physiology Honors and Sports Medicine 1 & 2. I love to share my passion for health science and sports medicine in all of my courses; making real-world connections with students as I challenge them to be their best. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of North Florida in Health Science with a Track in Athletic Training and my Master's in Education from Jones International University. I am also a Board Certified Athletic Trainer, have AP Biology & Online Teaching endorsements, and have experience as an AP Biology Reader. 

When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my husband, three boys and 4 dogs. We love the lake, swimming, and spending quality time with family & friends.
