Hello, my name is Brooke Kitzhaber and I am so happy to get to teach 7th grade math at Chapin Middle School.  This will be my 3rd year teaching math at Chapin Middle School and I could not be happier to be back!  I received my BS in Mathematics from Converse College in 2017 and my Graduate Certificate in Youth Development Leadership from North Carolina State University in 2019.  Before deciding to pursue teaching math, I taught supplemental nutrition education classes to primary school students with NC Cooperative Extension. 

My husband and I moved to the area in August of 2019 after getting married.  We were both raised in Wisconsin and are enjoying the warm weather.  Most of my time outside of the classroom is dedicated to running with my dog River and crafting my heart out.   

Middle school is my favorite age group, all of my students are so exciting, funny, and curious.  I am confident that we are going to have the best year yet at this "one happy school!"
