Ms. Lauren Pegg

My name is Lauren Pegg, and I am the School Psychologist assigned to H.E. Corley Elementary School. I grew up in the area and am a proud alumnus of Lexington-Richland 5. I obtained my Bachelor's degree from the University of South Carolina and my Masters and Educational Specialist degrees from The Citadel. My job includes providing direct support and interventions to students, consulting with teachers, families, and other school-employed mental health professionals (i.e., school counselors, school social workers) to improve support strategies, conducting psychological and academic assessments, working with school administrators to improve school-wide practices and policies, and collaborating with community providers to coordinate needed services.
