Hola, nǐ hǎo, أهلا, привет, 안녕, bonjour, hallo, jambo... HELLO heroes! My name is Ms. Vickery and I am thrilled to be serving English language learners at Harbison West. I was born and raised in Columbia, so it is no suprise that I became a Gamecock! I graduated in May of 2020 with my Bachelors in Spanish and my Minor in Foreign Language Education from the University of South Carolina. I will be completing my Masters in ELL this fall from Western Governors University. While I was in college, I was blessed to have the opportunity to study in Seville, Spain. During my time there, I worked in an English academy teaching students your age. When I returned home, I taught elementary Spanish for a couple of years. I am so excited about teaching English again. Learning about other cultures and languages has always been a love of mine, but my true passion is teaching! I am looking forward to sharing a great year with all of you!
