Teaching had been my life’s purpose. I have been teaching for 18 years and this is my 19th year of teaching, 6 of those years was spent teaching physics and mathematics classes in the Philippines and 11 years in Birmingham, Alabama and my 2nd year teaching here at Irmo High School, Irmo, South Carolina. Over the years, I have the opportunity to teach different math classes Pre-Algebra, Foundations in Algebra, Algebra 1 CP, Algebra 2 w/ Trigonometry, Algebra 2 HN, Geometry, Pre-AP Precalculus, AP Statistics, AP Calculus and physics classes.
I was born and grew up from the Philippines before moving here in the United States 12 years ago. I earned my undergraduate degree of Bachelor in Secondary Education majors in Physics and Mathematics from the University of Nueva Caceres from the Philippines and my graduate degree of Master of Arts in Education in Mathematics from The University of Alabama at Birmingham. The AP Statistics and Gifted and Talented credentials were earned from the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL and Converse University in Spartanburg, SC respectively.
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends. I love to travel and read books. I have a deep interest in photography, astronomy, finance and economics. I invest in myself by incessantly learning and strongly believes in excellence and integrity.
I am excited to be part of your quest for learning.
