Mr. Robert Ellington
Greetings! My name is Robert Ellington, and I am very excited about the 2023-2024 school year in FIVE! This is my fourth year in FIVE and I love our program!
I attended the University of Kentucky and graduated in 1988.
After teaching for 3 years, I relocated to South Carolina to be closer to family, and I enrolled in the Graduate School at Charleston Southern University. I graduated from that program with a Master's Degree in
Science Education. I then taught for 10 years in Holly Hill, South Carolina, and then moved to Charleston. While taking classes at the College of Charleston, I also taught Chemistry 101 and assisted in lab preparations.
It was after a year in Charleston that I moved to Columbia, where I accepted a position at Heathwood Hall Episcopal School, where I taught for 16 years, and met my wife! I am now delighted and honored to be part of the FIVE team!
Away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and studying German.
