Ms. Ivey Westerkam

Welcome to second grade!  My name is Ivey Westerkam and I am so excited to be your child's teacher! We are going to have a wonderful year full of learning, growing, and fun!  I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Wake Forest University. I then furthered my education at the College of Charleston where I earned my Masters of Arts in Teaching Elementary Education. 

I was born and raised in Irmo, South Carolina. As a product of Lexington/Richland 5 schools, I know first-hand the amazing education and environment Irmo Elementary School provides. It is an honor to teach at the same school where I was a student many years ago. 

When I am not teaching, I love doing yoga, reading, and spending time with my family and friends.
