Hello Piney Woods Family!
This is my third year as a Reading Interventionist at Piney Woods. I am so excited to have the honor to teach at this amazing school. This is my 17th year in Education. During this time, I have had the opportunity to teach Kindergarten, First Grade, and Reading Intervention. I graduated from the University of South Carolina in May of 2007 with a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and in August of 2011 with a Master's Degree in Language and Literacy. I am also a National Board Certified Teacher in the area of Language and Literacy.
I am an alumni of Lexington Richland School District 5, where I attended Chapin Elementary, Chapin Middle, and Chapin High School. I am proud to be a teacher in the Chapin community where I attended school.
In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family (husband, 6 year old, and 10 year old), reading, spending time at Edisto Beach and enjoying time with friends.
