Mrs. Sharon C. Hoyle

Hello my name is Mrs. Hoyle, and I am very excited to be teaching at Dutch Fork Middle.  Believe it or not I came out of retirement to spend the school year with you. I retired from Laurens #55 school district  last year after my fifteenth year as a special education teacher.  I began my teaching career in Greenville County after spending 22 years working in Corporte America. I am a recent widow, my husband and I had been married for 25 years when he passed away.  We  have a 22 year old son studying Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Carolina " Go Gamecocks"  and upon graduation will attend Officer's Training School (OCS). WE have one pet a one year old cat named Azul.

I am the youngest child of Dwight and Hallie Carter. I was born and educated in Indianapolis, Indiana. My first career was in employee benefits, holding postions from Claim Examiner to Disability Case Manager, to Corporate Trainer.

I earned by my teaching certification from the University of South Carolina Upstate with a B.S. in Special Education, I earned a M.Ed. in Special Education from Grand Canyon University, and a graduate certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis.
