Hi, I'm Kristin Bowman and I'm so excited to be joining the "Hive" here at Irmo Elementary. 

I have been working in an educational setting for over 12 years now.  Most recently, I have worked as a teacher in Special Education and Behavior for the past 5 years. 

I moved to the Palmetto State from Virginia 5 years ago and now call it home.  I have a son, who is a senior at Upstate (Majoring in Education) and a daughter and son-in- law who just blessed me with my first granddaughter.  I enjoy everything that the outside has to offer (hiking, kayaking, beach, mountains and bicycling).

I am very excited for this year and can't wait to watch my students blossom and grow!
