Mrs. Nicole Sanderson

Hello! My name is Nicole Sanderson and this is my second year teaching first grade at Lake Murray Elementary School. I have 12 years prior experience teaching first grade in the state of Wisconsin, and now one year teaching here in SC. I love teaching and have a strong desire to help my students become independent and confident learners. I enjoy sharing my love of learning with my students, and I feel blessed knowing I have the opportunity to be a positive role model for them. I got my undergraduate in Sociology at the University of Wisconsin Parkside where I also played collegiate softball for four years. I love being part of a team! After graduation I received my post baccalaureate degree in Elementary/Middle Education at Alverno College in Milwaukee, WI. I also have a Masters in Education, Professional Learning Communities. I have been married since 2010 and my husband and I have four children ages 10, 7, 5, and 3. I look forward to meeting my new students and families this year!
