Ms. Mary Barfield

Mrs. Barfield joined the Academy in 2014 as the APEX/Biology teacher. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C., and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Science and Policy from The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. 

Ms. Barfield's son is attending Lander University studying Music Education.  She lives in Irmo with her husband and fur babies Bentley and Sophie.
