¡Bienvenidos Héroes! My name is Señora Barnaby and I will have the honor of being your HWES Héroe Spanish Teacher this year! I have been a teacher of Spanish for many, many, muchos years! I love Spanish and learning all languages, too. I have traveled to Spain many times-including on tours with my students!- and I even lived there for a semester during college! I have taught Spanish to students of all ages, and I have even taught French! Being in the Spanish classroom is like a second home to me. I hope that you feel the same way and are just as emocionado as I am to learn español. 

HWES Héroes, this year will be amazing! We will use a variety of actividades to learn español. What are your favorite ways to learn a language? If you are not sure, ¡no te preocupes- do not worry! It is most common to learn language through exploring the world around you, hearing the language in songs, talking, and música- as well as using your other senses to soak in the español, like acting, creating, and eating- mmmm!
