Mrs. Burry

Hello! My name is Kristen Burry and I am a math interventionist here at Leaphart Elementary School. I graduated from Columbia College with a Bachelor's Degree in K-12 Multi-Categorical Special Education, and a Masters in Trauma Informed Education. I am also certified to teach in the Gifted and Talented programs. I believe that building and maintaining positive relationships with the students and families that I serve is a key component to success in education. When I am not teaching, I enjoy spending time with my family. Some of our favorite activities include Carolina Football and tailgating, traveling anywhere we have never been, and spending time with our new puppy. I look forward to the opportunity to help my students learn and grow as mathematicians this year!
