Ms. Garnett Rooks

My name is Garnett Rooks.  I am from Irmo, S.C. I am a Lexington-Richland school district 5 graduate!  I recieved my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and my Master's Degree in Language and Literacy from The University of South Carolina.  Go Gamecocks!! This is my 7th year teaching and my 1st year teaching in Lexington- Richland school district 5.  I am so excited to come back and serve the community that helped mold me into who I am.  I have a son who will be 1 in August- he is my only baby and any free time I have we are hanging out.  We love to go swimming and go to the beach.  I also enjoy cooking and reading. I am looking forward to amazing things happening this year at H.E. Corley!
