Mr. Lucas Snyder

Hello, Chapin Middle!  I'm beyond thrilled to join District 5 and Chapin Middle School this year.

I've spent my entire education career at the high school level teaching United States History (AP, Honors, CP), and as the head coach of both Varsity Girls Soccer and Varsity Cross Country programs, at Columbia High School. I received both my Bachelor of Arts, History and Masters in Teaching, Social Studies from the University of South Carolina. When not in the classroom you can find me hiking and exploring with my wife and two daughters. 

I can't wait to start exploring the history of our state and nation with our students!
