Mrs. Jonna Oliveira

My name is Jonna Oliveira, and I am SO excited to be your child’s teacher! We are going to learn and grow so much together, and I’m so excited that I get to work with such amazing students and families! 

I grew up in and attended District Five schools, and I am so blessed to be back in the district that made me who I am today! I graduated from USC in May of 2023. Go Gamecocks!! I was fortunate enough to do my student teaching at IES, and I am so thankful to be in such an amazing and supportive place. The Heart of the Hive is truly the best place to “bee”!! 

I got married in June!! My sweet husband Kenny and I live in Lexington with our black lab named Lily, and our three kitty cats, Sundae, Mocha, and Reese Cup. I love to read, travel, drink lots of coffee, and spend time with my amazing family! 

I am so excited for an amazing first year of teaching, and an amazing year in Kindergarten
