Mrs. Angela Maddalena

Hello! My name is Angela Maddalena and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year! This is my very first year here at HWES and I am looking forward to getting to know each child and their family. I was born and raised in South Carolina. I attended the University of South Carolina where I received a BA in Elementary Education. Go Gamecocks! 

My wonderful husband Tommy and I celebrated our 13th year anniversary this past June. We have two amazing children, Aiden (6th grade) and Ella (4th grade). When I'm not at school, I enjoy kayaking, paddleboarding, photography, and traveling.

My mission as an educator is to help foster a love for learning in each student as they pursue their journey of being a life-long learner. I am so excited to be a part of the HERO family!
