Ms. Emily Lawler

Hello! My name is Emily Lawler! 

This is my first year teaching first grade at DFES! I grew up right here in Columbia, SC and I attended D5 schools growing up! I am so happy to be teaching in the district that grew me into who I am today! I graduated in 2023 with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of South Carolina Aiken! 

In my free time, I love spending time with my family and my very sweet cats, Salem and Tigger! A few of my favorite things are caffeine-free Coca-Cola and Reese's! 

I am so excited about being your child's teacher this year and watching our sweet Fox Cubs grow!
