Hi! I am the art teacher at River Springs Elementary School. I have been a teacher here for 14 years and hope to be here for many more!

I have 3 grown children and two granddaughters. My eldest son lives with his family in California. He is a programmer for Apple, Inc. My second son lives in Columbia with his wife and daughter and he works at USC. My daughter lives with her husband in Charlotte and she works as a web designer. My husband is also an educator at a District Five high school.

I love teaching art to students. My favorite kind of art is the one that I haven’t learned yet as I am always looking to do new things. I also love to re-arrange furniture and draw house plans.  My husband and I hope to someday build our own house from one of my plans.

I also love puzzles of any kind! I enjoy playing Scrabble and Sudoku but my most recent, proudest accomplishment is scoring “genius” level on the Triangle and Peg game my husband bought me from Cracker Barrel... and I did it without any help! :)
