Mrs. Rachel Johnson

Welcome to 3rd grade! My name is Rachel Johnson. I have been teaching for 7 years here at Leaphart and truly call this school my home! I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education in 2016 from the University of South Carolina! Just as I instill the importance of being a lifelong learner into my students, I went back to USC where I received a Masters of Education degree in Language and Literacy in 2021. As you can tell, I am a Gamecock fan! Go Gamecocks! I was born and raised in Columbia, SC and am a proud product of District Five! I taught First Grade for 4 years and am now in my 3rd year of teaching Third Grade. I truly love teaching 3rd grade, especially teaching multiplication and division! I am thrilled about the 2023-2024 school year!
