Mrs. Christensen and Ms. McCormack's Kindergarten cuties! 

Hello and welcome to Kindergarten!!!  I am so excited about having an awesome year with your child.  Chapin Elementary is an amazing place to play, explore, and learn new things!

I have experience as a preschool inclusion teacher, kindergarten teacher, and a first grade teacher.  This is my 13th year of teaching and I can't wait to get started.  I received my B.A in Experimental Psychology from the University of South Carolina.  Go Gamecocks!!!!  I then pursued my Masters in Early Childhood Education from Converse College in Spartanburg, SC.  My husband and I have been married for 14 years and we have 2 beautiful children.  Our son, Palmer, will be 11 in December and will be in 5th grade this year and our daughter, Ava, will be turning 8 in September and will be in 2nd grade.  We also have a one-year-old black English lab named Sadie. :)

I enjoy coffee, college football ( Go Gamecocks!) , Fall, candles, Italian food, chocolate, and spending time with my family and friends!  I believe that any child has the ability to learn and can achieve anything they put their mind to and I can not wait to teach your child.  Ms. McCormack will be my assistant this year and I am beyond excited that we have the opportunity to have your child in our class this year!  Thank you for entrusting your child to us and we are so excited about the amazing Kindergarten year we are going to have and having the pleasure of watching your child grow as a person and as a learner!
