Where Children Are Cherished And Challenged
Degrees and Certifications:
My name is Lisa Haase, and I have been an educator for over a decade. I graduated from Universtity of South Carolina Upstate with my bachelors in elementary education, as a highly qualified elementary teacher. Upon graduating I went on to pursue becoming highly qualified, as a middle level social studies teacher, and achieving Advance Academic Endorsement, to teach gifted and talented. I am currently in the process of working diligently to be endorsed further, as a Read to Succeed Literacy Teacher.
Before coming to SOES I taught in Richland School District One, in high risk schools, and guided my students to be number one in the district, at each school I had the opportunity to teach. I am of the belief that every child, no matter their circumstances, has the ability to learn and achieve. I've had the opportunity to guide my students over the years, as they have become young adults, to become productive citizens, that can give back and experience success, in our technologically advanced society. I believe student-teacher, and teacher-parent relationships are paramount in fostering a positive envioronment for student growth, learning, and self-esteem. I believe in educating the whole child and preparing them with skills that will allow them to achieve their dreams and goals, even as they change over the years.
