After the field trip to the Koger Center to see The Freedom Train production for students about the life of Harriet Tubman, and reading about Harriet Tubman's life and the abolitionist movement, the students were asked to reflect and respond in writing to the following question, "Harriet Tubman devoted her life to freeing others. Using evidence from the play, Freedom Train, prove that Harriet Tubman was a great leader."
