Alexis DeJesus designs logo for Chapin Arbor Day Foundation

The Chapin Arbor Day Foundation asked for Chapin area students to help them with their logo design. Digital Art and Design student, Alexis DeJesus, designed the logo that the Foundation found to best represent their organization. Alexis attends the Center for Advanced Technical Studies and is in the Digital Art and Design program taught by Jeannette Mangels.

Alexis has several interests including art and graphic design and environmental issues. She serves as the captain of the Envirothon team and is a member of Chapin High’s recycling team. She recently won Richland County’s Conservation Poster Contest with the theme of “We all Need Trees.”

The Foundation unveiled her design December 2, 2016 at the new Chapin Technology Park.
