Information on withdrawing and enrolling students during COVID-19 closure

All schools and offices are currently closed under executive order of the governor of South Carolina.

During the closure, all schools in School District Five of Lexington & Richland Counties are still enrolling and withdrawing students, but the procedures have been adjusted.

 

ENROLLMENT

If you are new to the district and need to enroll your child, please send an email to the school registrar. District or school personnel will respond with next steps within 48 hours. If you do not hear from school personnel within 48 hours, please contact Connie Graham at cgraham@lexrich5.org.

Note: The enrollment process will be mostly electronic.  A working email or phone number is essential to the completion of the process.

 

WITHDRAWAL

If you need to withdraw your child, please send an email to the school registrar.  District or school personnel will respond with next steps within 48 hours. If you do not hear from school personnel within 48 hours, please contact Connie Graham at cgraham@lexrich5.org.

 

In your email to (registrar’s name), please provide the following information:

  • a picture of your ID
  • your child’s legal First and Last Name as entered in PowerSchool
  • your child’s Birthdate
  • the school your child is currently attending
  • the name of the district and school that your child will be attending after the withdrawal
  • a contact email and phone number so the school registrar can contact you to complete the withdrawal process

Note: In order to withdraw a child, you must be listed as Contact #1 or Contact #2 in PowerSchool.
